Swift Energy successfully installed alternative source of energy for Petronas Fertilizer Kedah Plant.

PFKSB is planning to install a cogeneration plant and its associated facilities to provide an alternative source of energy to PLANT. The PROJECT will basically consist of two units of Gas Turbine Generator (CTG) with each capable of delivering 9MW power generation at site and 2 units of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG).

Swift Energy together with CHLORIDE Secure Power, delivering 2 x 40KVA AC UPS and 2 x 110V DC UPS along with Nickel Cadmium batteries and distribution boards, supplying uninterruptable and quality power supply to most of those critical electrical and instrument equipments at site.

Thanks to the high quality UPS from CHLORIDE France and experience project management team of Swift Energy, all four parties i.e. the owner – PFKSB, the EPCC – Shinryo Steamline Consortium (SSC), the manufacturer – CHLORIDE and vendor – Swift Energy representatives successfully witnessed FAT of those equipment at CHLORIDE factory and equipment being delivered to site in timely manner.

Swift Energy awarded the contract to supply Solar Power System for Shell St. Joseph Project

SHELL initiated the planning to install solar power system as a renewable energy to power up compact fluorescent fixtures on St Joseph Remote Jacket A, B, F, G and H near East Malaysia offshore.

Swift Energy awarded the contract to supply Explosion proof solar panel, battery chargers, battery, distribution board, isolators and associated components in hazardous zone of five platforms of St Joseph Remote Jackets. This turnkey project handled by Swift Energy including engineering design, system architecture planning, sourcing appropriate equipment with certification, assembly of complete systems, testing, FAT, delivery and supervision/commissioning at site.

Swift Energy solar power system fulfilling the DEP standard and the demanding VDRL as stipulated by SHELL, we learnt to be more skillful implementing large scale of international projects.

All equipments were delivered to site in June 2009 and expected to be commissioned the next three months.

Swift Energy supplied cast resin transformer for zone 2 for Shell Cilipadi Project

Swift Energy has just completed contractual scope of supply of 7 no of cast resin transformer (various size from 630KVA- 3150KVA) and 6 no of zone 2 transformer (1600KVA & 50KVA) to Shell F23VLAP, F23R-A, Cilipadi project in June 2009, with F28 project schedule to complete in Aug 2009.

Swift Energy has secured new contract from Sabah Shell Berhad to supply 2 no of zone 2 transformer 1000KVA for St Joseph project in June 2009.

Swift Energy participates in OGA 2007
Swift Energy's debut participation in the Oil and Gas show from 13 - 15th June 2007 saw a keen interest in our products and solutions displayed. For the best part of the exhibition's opening hours, customers, prospects, well wishers and visitors came by to browse our solution offerings. Swift Energy showcased their Integrated Motor Control System (IMCS) which was developed by our subsidiary Swift Solutions. The IMCS is a solution for intelligent motor management which complements the motor control products. Swift Energy has been granted a licence by General Electric to produce its range of SEN Plus Low Voltage Motor Control Centers (MCC) and switchboards. Also displayed were products for Navigation and Warning aids from Pharos Marine and the line up was completed with helideck wave-off lights from IMT, Holland.

GE FANUC was on hand to introduce their 90-70 PLC based Triple and Dual Redundant mode Safety Shutdown systems. The displays at the Swift Energy stand were anchored by the Power Management System simulation and demonstration from Brush Electrical, UK.

 

GE FANUC Appoints Swift Energy as partner for PROFICYT PROCESS SYSTEM

Swift Energy was selected to be the first to partner GE FANUC in offering the latest process control system called PROFICYT. ProficyT Process Systems was designed specifically to fill the gap that has long existed between traditional DCS systems and PLC/HMI based systems. This new technology offering solves the problems and limitations of these traditional systems and provides customers in the hybrid and continuous process space with a solution that will improve their operational efficiency, overall business results, and reduce their total cost of ownership.ProficyT Process Systems provides the control systems engineer with the integrated tools they need to design, implement, document, and maintain a process automation system.This is done by using batch and continuous control strategies and utilities typically associated with DCS distributed control .systems yet at a traditional HMI/PLC solution price structure, openness, and flexibility .

Mr Stephen Ryan, Global Marketing Director and Mr Kiran Balijepalli, Sales Leader - SEA , Process System representing GE FANUC were on hand to present the appointment certificate to Mr. BC Tan from Swift Energy. This ceremony was preceded by a seminar on the ProficyT process system to introduce it to the Malaysian market, held at the Federal Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on the 22nd of August, 2007.

 

Swift Energy receives Maintenance Contract from EPMI for Solar Power Supply Systems

EPMI has recently awarded a three (3) year maintenance contract to Swift Energy to undertake maintenance of the Solar Power Systems on 10 unmanned satellite platforms located offshore Trengganu on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The contract has a two (2) year renewal option.

As part of the company's plans for increased revenue and to better serve our customers, Swift Energy has established branch offices in Permas Jaya, Johor Bahru in 2008 and China Chongqing this year.
